LOURINHÃ
This village is known for Dinosaur Capital, thanks to its wealth of Jurassic remains. O Lourinhã Museum is located in the center of the town and has the largest Iberian collection of Late Jurassic dinosaur fossils and one of the most important worldwide.
Seafood is also a specialty of Lourinhã. For over 50 years they have been fished in the old ports.
AREIA BRANCA BEACH
A beach located in Lourinhã. Known for its natural beauty, it has an extensive stretch of white sand and the Atlantic waters that bathe it.
Mostly frequented by water sports enthusiasts such as surfing and bodyboarding, The beach has some bars and restaurants on the seafront, where visitors can enjoy meals and drinks and watch the sunset
GOLF
The Botado Golf Course is a 9-hole links course located next to the dunes of Praia da Consolação, a short distance from the fishing port of Peniche.
Created around a juniper grove, the course stretches along the beach and offers spectacular views of the sea.
DOC LOURINHÃ WINERY
DOC Lourinhã Brandy is produced here, in the only Demarcated Region in the country solely for the production of Brandies. It is one of three regions in Europe, on an equal footing with the famous French spirits, Armagnac and Cognac.
RIO MAIOR SALT FLATS
The Rio Maior Salt Flats are located in the heart of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. These are the only inland salt flats in Portugal, and the only ones that are fully operational in Europe.
They are considered a wonder of nature, as the ocean is 30 km away. Salt is a trace of the presence of the sea in ancient times. The water, around seven times saltier than sea water, comes from a well, after passing through a rock salt deposit.
WALKING TRAILS
The route begins and ends at the Reguengo Grande. Just before arriving at the village of Reguengo Pequeno, we passed by an old shepherds' shelter. We left Reguengo Pequeno, heading towards the village of Cesaredas, going down to the Cornaga Valley. On the way back to the starting point, we passed the Church of São Domingos, dating from the 17th century.

ÓBIDOS
It is a 15-minute drive from the medieval village of Óbidos, one of the most picturesque and best preserved in Portugal.
Located at a high point, close to the Atlantic coast, it has a well-preserved castle and a labyrinth of streets and white houses that enchant anyone who walks there.
PENICHE & BERLENGAS ISLAND
Casal da Serrana is a 25-minute drive from Peniche, which is a popular surfing spot. The local port also offers boat connections to Berlengas Island. The island has hiking trails, camping sites and beaches.
BUDDHA EDEN PARK
Visit Quinta dos Loridos, where you will find the largest oriental garden in Europe, the impressive Bacalhôa Buddha Eden. with around 35 hectares.
